Upton Towans Nature Reserve, the second largest dune system in the country, this Site of Special Scientific Interest is a haven for wildlife and local history, with breathtaking views to St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse.

A 15 minute walk across the dunes and you reach three miles of magnificent golden sands. Marram sands is no smoking and well behaved dogs are allowed on request!

UPTON TOWANS is a large and popular beach halfway along the Towans which can be used safely for swimming, surfing and windsurfing. Lifeguards are on duty in summer. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year.

AN IDEAL LOCATION for families, surfers, nature lovers, bird watchers, writers and artists, is is open throughout the year, including for winter letting.
